Sen no Kiseki Prologue (Part 2)

Note: Only covers the main scenario. Added in some descriptive text ^^

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

-- 5 Months Prior

Central Erebonian Empire, Imperial Capital City Heimdallr outskirts --

Location 400 selge west of small town Trista

City Bareahead-bound Passenger Train

On board the speeding train, a black-haired boy looks out the window.

Train Announcer: This train is bound for Bareahard by way of Celdic.  Thank you very much for using our services today.  -- Next stop is Trista, Trista.  The train will remain in station for around 1 minute.  All passengers unboarding the train, please do not forget your belongings.

Black-haired Boy: (-- Guess we're about to arrive.  At any rate, looks like it's already spring.  Even though there are still snow left back home...)

The train enters Trista Station and passengers begin to unboard.  The black-haired boy steps out of the station and looks around.

Rean: Wow....!  Are those Lhino flowers?  This is the first time I'm seeing them bloom in such large numbers. (So I guess I'll be spending time here for the next two years... it looks like a comfortable town to live in.)

A girl walks out of the station not looking where she is going and bumps into Rean.

Girl: Ahh...!
Rean: Eh?
Girl: Ouch...
Rean: Sorry, are you okay? I'm really sorry, it's all because I'm just standing there in a daze.
Girl: Hehe.. Don't worry about it because I was also entranced by the flowers...  But this looks like a really great town, won't you agree?
Rean: Yeah, I was just thinking that.  Anyway, how's your trunk?  Looks like you dropped it.
Girl: Oh don't worry about it.  But... it looks like we have the same-colored uniforms right?
Rean: Now that you mentioned it....and it looks like the other students are wearing green uniforms.  Just what is going on?  I'm just wearing what they sent me...
Girl: That's the same for me.... But I did see some others wearing them, so there's probably a reason for it.  It probably means we're in the same class, or something like that.
Rean: I see...
Girl: Hehe, well then, see you! Although I have a feeling we'll be meeting again during the school entrance ceremony.

The girl takes her leave.

Rean: Ah! I should've asked her name... Well whatever, it looks like we'll have the chance to meet again in the future. But still... the same colored uniforms huh...

Rean takes out something from his pocket.

Rean: And this Orbment too... no explanation whatsoever even though it was sent along with the uniform.  For a military academy equipment, it's relatively fancy.... -- Oh well whatever, time to go. It looks like Thors Military Academy is located on the north side of town.  There's still a bit of time left, but it won't look good if I'm late for the entrance ceremony.

>>> Prologue: Thors Military Academy >>>

Walking around town, Rean stops at a little park located just in front of the train station.

Rean: Wow... so this is like a little park.  There are lots of stores nearby too.  It's the perfect spot for a quick break.
Voice: zzz....
Rean: Eh?

Rean spots a girl sleeping soundly on a wooden bench nearby.

Silver-haired Girl: ... zzz...
Rean: A girl? In such a place...? (The fact that she's in school uniform means she's a new student right? The entrance ceremony is about to start, guess I should probably wake her up...)
Silver-haired Girl: ............

The girl opens her eyes and sits up.

Rean: Ah...
Silver-haired Girl: ~~~Yawn~~~ .............hm..........
Rean: H, hey?...
Silver-haired Girl: ....Time to go.

The girl runs off.

Rean: (..... Uh well I guess I should go too.  But still, she's like a cat.)

Heading inside the church, Rean sees a male student kneeling down in prayer.

Rean: (The Septian Church's chapel...it's around the same size as the one back home)
Male student: (..........)
Rean: (There's someone here already.... huh?...)

The male student stands up and turns toward Rean.

Male student: Am I in your way?
Rean: Oh no, don't worry about it.
Male student: Is that so? Well then, please excuse me.
Rean: (Dark brown-colored skin......doesn't look to be an Erebonian.  He's quite tall, and what's with that mark and huge bag...-- oh well whatever. Should I go pray for a bit?)

Rean heads for the academy located on the north side of town.  Near the entrance, an old butler presents a long case to a girl with long blue hair.

Old Butler: -- Well then, Miss. I pray for your good fortunes in battle.
Blue-haired Girl: Yes, thank you.  Gramps should also take care.  I leave the house to you when Father is away.
Old Butler: Haha, yes I understand.

The blue-haired girl leaves as the old butler bows.  After seeing her off, the old butler notices Rean.

Old Butler: Ah, pardon me.  Isn't today a fine day. Sincere congratulations on your entry this day.
Rean: Ah... Yes, thank you very much.

The old butler leaves.

Rean: (....Quite a gallant old man.  He looks to be a butler for a family somewhere.  So that girl is from a noble family?... She had a dignified appearance, so probably from some famous military family?)

At the school entrance.  Rean looks around.

Rean: So this place is... this is Thors Military Academy....The school that's said to be founded by that Great Emperor Dreichels.

A green limousine drives up to the school entrance.  Rean moves to the side.  The drivers gets off and opens the door for someone sitting in the backseat.

Driver: Sorry for the wait.  Little master, we have arrived at Thors Military Academy.
Male voice: Thank you.

Driver: Let me carry your luggage for you.
Blonde-haired Boy: That won't be needed.  I don't want to stand out unnecessarily.
Driver: But...
Blonde-haired Boy: I said it's fine.  Take a break and then you can head back to Bareahead.
Driver:... I understand. Then I shall take my leave. Wishing you a good school life... please take care of your health.

The blonde-haired boy gives the driver a nod and heads inside the school.  The limousine drives off.

Rean: .... (Orbal limousine... Reinford's best model? As expected, looks like even the heirs of great nobles will be attending this school...)
