>> Orkis Tower Infiltration Begins

10:30 AM of the same day. The Orkis Tower infiltration finally begins and the Bracers acting as vanguards open the way by defeating the magi-tech golems standing guard. With that as a sign, the police cars speed up the slope and fly into the Orkis Tower grounds one after the other. In order to deal with the magi-tech golems defending the grounds to the entrance, the police attack while using their cars as barricades. While providing back-up support to the Bracers who have penetrated deep into enemy lines, they work together to cut out a bloody path leading to the Tower. Both Lechter and Kirika are fighting bravely alongside the others, and seeing the perfect chance, Sergei signals Lloyd's infiltration team. At his sign, the SSS orbal car accelerates to an immense speed and crashes through the front door of the Orkis Tower. Lloyd's group successfully gets inside.

>> Infiltration into Independent Nation of Crossbell

At the bridge of the Merkabah No. 9 soaring across the sky, a video call session is ongoing with the Merkabah No. 5 that is flying parallel. Their plan is to let Kevin and Ries' Merkabah No. 5 act as decoy while Wazy's Merkabah No. 9 infiltrate into Crossbell during that time. As Lloyd watches over the situation from the side, he unexpectedly comes to learn of Kevin's nickname and its origin. Ending their communication, the Merkabah No. 5 goes on ahead and starts to accelerate. As it engages in intense aerial combat with the Aion Type- β that suddenly appeared, the Merkabah No. 5 lures its opponent away from Merkabah No. 9's flight path as previously arranged. It continues to fly above Crossbell at full speed while creating an opening for Merkabah No. 9, which has already cloaked itself through its optical camouflage mechanism.

Sora no Kiseki Drama CD: Advanced Chapter

Note: This Drama CD takes place between Sora no Kiseki 3rd and Zero no Kiseki. Unlike a lot of the other Drama CDs which are adaptions of the in-game story, this one is original story~ It's one of my more favorite ones because there are plenty of cute moments (Estelle and Joshua <3) Youtube link to the Drama CD is at the bottom of this post. With the power of the Treasure of Zero in their hands, the independent nation of Crossbell proposes the formation of the "Zemurian Alliance". With Crossbell as its leader, this alliance will denounce all wars and ensure freedom in all economic activities. For those small countries and autonomous states constantly under pressure from the Erebonia Empire and Calvard Republic, this proposal is a highly appealing diplomatic tactic. As a result, though the neighboring countries were originally critical of Crossbell's high-handed method, it gradually turns into a situation in which even they've become unable to resist this flow of events. In addition, an economic crisis triggered by the situation in Crossbell has started in the Calvard Republic, and anti-immigration terrorist activities intensify. In the Erebonia Empire, a large-scale civil war erupts, and there is a rumor spreading that Chancellor Osborne has been assassinated. Furthermore, Ouroboros secretly discloses their intention to assist Crossbell to the governments of the other countries. There is no stop to Dieter's ambition.

At the SSS building entrance, Lloyd and the others see off KeA who is attending her first day of Sunday school. In contrast to KeA who is filled with excitement, Lloyd and Elie feel nervous, like parents worrying about their child. Beside them and making fun of two are Randy and Tio. After the settlement of the D∴G Cult incident, bright and peaceful days gradually return to the SSS. And today, the members of the SSS have received an invitation from Dieter, the new Crossbell mayor.

Note: Taken from the Crossbell Archives. In this chapter, something happens to one of my favorite characters (>_<) That shocking scene is still fresh in my mind even to this day (it killed me a little inside)... Interestingly enough, this is also *the* chapter that made Ao climb to my #1 (and it stays there till the end). There are just so many cool scenes, in particular that one that happens at a certain Fortress.

PS: One of the best things about the Crossbell Archive are the notes at the side of these chapter summaries that go in-depth into certain plot points or provide other meaningful information. I'll be going back through all the chapters and adding those in as footnotes after I get the main story summaries done.

During the renewal performance of "Golden Sun, Silver Moon", Sulley magnificently enacts the role of the newly added character, "Star Princess". As Rixia and the rest watch over her from the side of the stage, a sudden weird noise interrupts the performance. What immediately follows is Shirley cutting down the stage chandelier with her Testarossa. Ilya dashes in to push Sulley away from harm but gets heavily crushed under the dropping chandelier. In addition, Red Constellation troops storm into the hall and light the place ablaze, causing the audience to run for their lives. Amid the confusion, Rixia, who lost herself in rage, faces off against a highly-entertained Shirley.

Inside the "Celestial Globe" (location unknown), Campanella, the First Pillar, and the Sixth Pillar Novartis gathered together to confirm the current progression of the Phantom Flame Project. Novartis tells the others that preparation is around 90 percent complete, and adds "The order this time should somehow be able to make it on time." The First Pillar questions Campanella as to the whereabouts of the Enforcers, to which Campanella reports, "Biblanc retreated from Crossbell and Renne showed no sign of interfering after going off to the Liberl Kingdom." The First Pillar states that he/she intends to follow the rule of "giving the Enforcers freedom in their actions" and will "leave the decisions up to them." Despite Novartis claiming that the rule is absurd, the First Pillar counters that "there is no need to question the right or wrong of the Master's decision."

Note: There are lots of drama CDs to the Kiseki series and most of them are really fun to listen to. This track is from one of the Zero no Kiseki Drama CDs. It has to do with Tio which I find quite cute and funny ^^

Ever since the West Zemuria Trade Conference two weeks ago, the entire Crossbell State had been enveloped in a quiet enthusiasm. Many citizens agreed with Dieter's proposal of "Independence as a Sovereign Nation". However, there were also those worried about the two big nations' reactions. Here and there, citizens discussed the pros and cons of independence.

The unveiling ceremony of the Orkis Tower in which leaders of various countries were invited was scheduled for the day before the West Zemuria Trade Conference. Upon invitation, the Special Support Section also joined in on the Crossbell State Police Department countermeasure meeting in which the heads of various departments gathered. At the meeting, as a member of the Crossbell City security countermeasure force, Dudley briefly explained each of their assigned roles. According to him, the Special Support Section was to respond to citizen support requests as usual, and to function as backup in cases of emergency.

Lloyd and Elie lectured the two new SSS members on essential things they need to know when carrying out requests, including how to operate the SSS terminal and use of the Police Notebook. As they confirm their requests for the day, Sergei called out to them, "Looks like you guys are already starting." Stopping Noel who was about to give her salutations, Sergei instructed the four to head to the Crossbell Police Academy once they've taken care of the requests and left. Toward Noel who was perplexed by such an ambiguous instruction, Elie followed up saying "That's the Special Support Section's usual style." Wazy laughed while he called out to the others, "Let's go take care of the requests then." Lloyd suggested that they tell KeA before heading out into the city.

This happens in Chapter 3 when Rean, Alisa, Gaius, Emma, and Jusis are in the Nord Highlands for their special field training.  Prior to this scene, Alisa had just met up with her grandfather who went missing for years. Lots of rumors surround her grandfather's sudden disappearance years back. In the evening, they shared a meal together, along with the other people in the Nord settlement. Alisa excused herself and Emma, sensing something wrong, urged Rean to follow after her.
